Cummer Museum of Arts and Gardens

Connelly & Wicker | PRIME AE provided the civil design and permitting for the site improvements related to the expansion of the Cummer Museum of Arts and Gardens in Jacksonville Florida. CWI worked closely with a world-renowned landscape architect to design stormwater management facilities, driveway connections and utilities improvements to integrate with the landscaping and parking designed to complement the historic nature of the facility. CWI coordinated with the FDOT improvement project of Riverside Avenue adjacent to the museum and parking area. Connelly & Wicker was also responsible for the design of subsurface stormwater management facilities since there was no available space for surface facilities as well as designing the parking lot using pervious pavement. Required permitting with FDOT, COJ, and SJRWMD.
